Although we try to filter our ads, scams sometimes do crept through. The onus lies on buyer and seller to not be caught in a scam by following certain safety tips that will safeguard them from potential scammers. DO NOT trust everything you read or see! This site is never involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, shipping, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification"

Puppy scams and fraud

BEWARE of puppy Scams! Presently there are scams on Bulldogs and other famous breeds. If you see an Ad with a price much lower than that of the normal market price, make double sure its the real thing. They ask for courier service fees (remember these puppies dont exist!) because they are located so distant from everybody! It is much safer to FIRST do your homework, you can google for puppy scams, even put in the names of these people and you may much profit from this! You can also browse sites like http://www.reportacrime.co.za/  where you can browse for specific fraud cases reported and puppy scams that exist!

Scams also consists on vehicles, etc, remember the golden rule "if it seems to good to be true, it probably is!"

Safety Tips

Avoid scams by acting locally or paying cash.

Beware of poorly written English ads and replies. Most scams can originate overseas.

Always arrange for a safe place to meet and to finish a transaction.

Never pay with Western Union, Moneygram or other anonymous payment services that can't be traced.

Remember if an offer sounds to good to be true, it usually is!

Fraudulent people usually list an address that is different from the address on their item detail page. They will ask you where you are and give some different location far from you just to scam you into paying a reservation fee, etc.

Fraudsters will sell an expensive popular item at a suspiciously low price

Please Report ads that look or are suspicious - report the Ad here, on the right side of the Ad Page look for a drop box that says "Mark as..." (see photos below):

Select "Mark as Spam" or one of the other selections

This will mark the Ad and we will review the Ad asap.

You can also  Contact Us to review the ad. Please share as much possible information as possible so that we can put on alert on the user and block the ad if fraudelent!
